Does every child learn it as a core subject or only some schools? What age do they start?
Have you seen the curriculum, course textbooks/electronic aids etc. If so, is it illustrated with Chinese content or western content. Have you seen anything of the examination papers and what "pressure" is applied to the teachers to award a pass score?
Do you, as a teacher stay in your own room and the different classes move between rooms? I understand that is the standard in Thai classes for the 12 to 18 age students, but I'm told the younger kids stay with one teacher who teaches all subjects.
I ask as students in Thai schools, from the "textbooks" I've seen, seem to follow western lifestyles and "living" examples. Which for the local kids here bear no resemblance to their own experiences.
