Agriculture Department exhibits 12 species of lotuses at 11th Colorful Plant Fair
BANGKOK, 12 August 2017 (NNT) – The Department of Agriculture is exhibiting 12 species of lotuses at the 11th Colorful Plant Fair on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 85th birthday anniversary at Queen Sirikit Park, Chatuchak district, Bangkok.
Deputy Agriculture Department Director General Uthai Nopphakhunwong disclosed that the Department of Agriculture is exhibiting 12 species of lotuses at the fair. These lotuses were originated from outstanding research of the Department of Agriculture. There is also a demonstration of how to process lotuses.
Visitors can buy various processed-lotus food at the fair and receive lotus tea products for free.
He added that interested people can visit the 11th Colorful Plant Fair at Queen Sirikit Park, Chatuchak district, Bangkok from August 11-14, 2017.
