I'll answer my own question since there may be others interested in attending. The 2016 Durian festival in Chanthaburi is scheduled for May 21st through May 29th. I took a guess at when it might be held when I made my travel arrangements and will be there for the last 3 days. It's gonna be GREAT!!

Starts: Saturday 23 May, 2015 (Some activities take place from Thursday 21 May)
Ends: Sunday 31 May, 2015
The festival features contests of fruit decorated floats, beauty queens, Eastern famous fruits such as rambutan, durian, mangosteen, Rakam and Sala zalaccas (aka snake fruit) and varieties of santol, as well as booth displays of gems and jewellery and other farmer housewife groups.:confused:
Where: Triangular Na Choei Ground, Chanthaburi (King Taksin The Great Park/Lagoon and around Olympic Track Stadium)
Cost: Free!
That's the right festival.....but the wrong year!
The upcoming 2016 festival will be May 21-29, as stated. It should be a BLAST!!
