The govt approve the cutting of teak on your land, if you wish to remove.
They will come and cut your tree(s) at no cost to you, and take away the timber, though you do not receive any money.
Anyone else heard this.?

Sounds like a scam.
seems the police got paid around here for the permission to remove so it seems they won;t get there cut anymore.
So govt would get to sell.

just found out, came from the PYB, so it must be true.
Seems the gullible locals are pleased with it, not having the privilege of paying to cut your own trees has made them happy
