I tried them and thought they were pretty good compared with what Lays usually produce.
Funnily enough (although it's not at all really) I et a packet I'd had for a few days yesterday (I had to pluck up the courage to eat them) and they were really quite nice, I was everso surprised.
hehe
I came in here expecting this to be a thread rejoicing in them.
They are my favourites. :D
Haven't tried them yet, but will do when I return. Surely they can't be as bad as those green tea crisps? Fuck me those are the worst I've ever tasted. Seaweed flavour as well, are Lays desperate?
Lays have to be the worst crisps ever produced (apart from the lemon ones) - typical bland Merkin crap.
Next will be Sanuk flavoured crisps. Ugh.
Pattie, you forgot dis...

I am not surprised as tehy have tom yung goong flavour as well which tastes horrible.
Lay's with salt only are delicious though, too bad they do not seem to be on the shelves anymore back here in Germany (Walmart used to have them).
Try Dan Loveland's corn chips. Nacho Cheese, plain, and spicy, much much nicer than lays.
Do they sell them in Villa, Pops?Quote:

There used to be Irn Bru flavoured crisps back home and chocokate.
I seem to remember hedgehog as well.
Yeah, I remember hedgehog crisps. I swear they were just beef & onion in a different packet though.
I dont mind the sea-weed crisps. Haven't plucked up the courage to try the lemon one's yet though.
They were odd
I don't know if I liked them or not.
Who the fuck eats lemon, seaweed or green tea chips, if ya do you should be dipping them in Pa La as you have done gone native.
They're crisps mate, CRISPS. Not fekkin' chips. Chips are what you get with fish, innit!?Quote:

I know, but you are doing so well at learning English, I thought I'd try and wean you off this piece of sepponess, too
Oh spot on then mate, carry on.
Its a bit wierd thinking that Americans Thais and Pakis are using the word mate - ozzies and brits ok but those three shouldn't they be saying something else.
Shouldn't that be English & Aussies? Haven't you Jocks got your own word for mate?
I have used mate since 1978 its a great word. Learned it from the Ozzies on my first trip to SE Asia.
Not really MD - Weegies will use Jimmy but mate is a commonly used in Gods own country.
hmmmmm, could we get back on topic please :) anyway my local supermarket doesn't stock the lemon flavoured crisps anymore :)
But they do stock these, I nipped down there for a quick beer with samwan and now they got salmon teriyaki flavoured crisp, I got to admit I aint even gonna bother trying these as they are something that crazed aussie wally would eat I should imagine.

it get's worse I should add, Thai chilli paste flavoured crisps, it wont be long believe me when they bring out poo flavoured crisps and label them as Durian flavour. I wonder what they think of farangs taking pictures of packets of crisps?

They probably think the same as the rest of us. :sheep:Quote:

Salmon ones just taste fishy not very nice at all
yeah thats the trouble with salmon, it tastes so much like fish :)
Tops has some 'handmade' crisps from the UK - 99b for 2 x 200 gram bags aparently. They're got proper flavours too (Cider Vinegar & Sea Salt).
So have Big C and Tesco.
MD - have you tried the - what is the name of them?
Maybe in your neck of the woods. Not on Changwattana in BKK. Neither Foodland or Lotus.Quote:
