from Land Transport Office
15 minutes
How long is it valid for as I need to get one for 6 weeks time and am just wondering if I should do it now or later.
hmmmm...missus was told on phone 1 month.
Can you get it in Pak Chong or Korat ?
Does it make a difference if the rego is Bangkok ?
yes
go to the office where the car is registered
I thought it was around 6 months or something - don't you need to own your car outright as well?
expires same date as the car registrationQuote:

You might be able to get one in Nong Khai
I have been told that they can do it.
Excellent...shall try.
Now just have to hide that kid good and well
Well I can confirm that Mr Nawty has well and truly been on the road and as of tonight made Ubon and dropped in for a few pizzas.
As much as I hate to say it he is a lovely bloke and I am looking forward to meeting him and his family and the pool tomorrow with my kids for a bit of a splash.
Have you never met the pool before then?Quote:

I can confimr that Memock is also....a lovely bloke.
As for the car passport....got it at the border, after the office had closed. Think we paid a premium for it, but what the hell as the convenience was good and we travelled across.

Try it.
Mine lasted 11 months, not yours.
Crikey.....59baht......I am somewhat embarrassed to say.
Even after 7 years living here you can still get scammed....lol.
Bugger.
I shall take this secret to my grave.
I just went and got mine for the first time (in Ubon).
They wanted my passport which I didn't have but decided that my driver license was good enough. Two photo copies for 2 baht each and then a wait of about 3 minutes + 55 baht and I walked out with my new car passport and stickers - couldn't have been easier if I tried. I do like the certificate I got saying that my car was inspected today and was found to be roadworthy, not that they would know as they never even looked at it.
Same same. Didn,t look at car. It is new though.
Now I can't remember which sticker they told me goes on the front and which one on the back - any ideas?
Inside one on front, outside on back.
Damn, I put the inside one on the outside and the front one on the back
Yes there is no difference but put the sticker on 80 percent tint on the back and it is not clearly visable.
D for dunce?
Serious...
ain't got no D sticker.
U in twouble then
bollocks.
