Ok so at that price it's going to be a CB400 or Shadow 400 or a Dragstar 400. If you are intrested in a Dragstar 400 with out book in good nick with import papers, low Klm, for about 75K bht. I have one in the shed that never gets used.
well maintained Suzuki Bandit 1200cc in Pattaya. Maybe too far too travel for you
Kawa 400 with book in Udon 45 K.
I'm in the Uk at the moment but the bike belongs to my Falang brother in law who is in Pattaya.
I have sent him an email with the site address of the forum and your details so hopefully He will contact you.
Oh and it is legal and He also looks after it like a baby so its a mint machine.:UK:

I'm sure Rigger, PeterPan or even a few of the others here can help you. What type and size bike are you looking for Spliff?
400cc - 1,300. Looking for something well maintained and well taken care of.
Talk some money,, how much we talking about here, don't be so tight assed with the info
Yeh but at work at the moment will be back in two weeks. I do know of some sports bikes for sale (private sale) starting with a 1998 R1 180K to K4s for between 200 to 300K and maybe a Blackbird. Not sure if they are still up for sale but will check.Quote:

well lets see if you spend 100K you will be looking at a nice 400.
If you spend 100K to 200K you will get a decent 1000 that needs a little work
If you spend 200K to 300K you will get something that is nice
300K and up well then you start getting into something special
Well, guess I don't want to spend more than 200,000 but willing to shell out more if neccessary for something nice.
If you are a little more specific about what you want, someone will be able to help.

Got a pic of that dragster. Also, u know that 400 in ChumPar the Swedish dude rides sounds great and flys. set up sport. CB something he says they're very rare but not sure of that, Riggers might know it since he's in KK. I want a bike for driving to the market in Puveian or Chumpar as I live about 60clicks outside of Khon Kaen and gas is getting too much for my big Toyota 4x4.

Something like tis would do the trick I think! Got a 2000 for 200,000 at siam superbike. prices seem a bit inflated at that site...I'm sure I could do better looking around.
Spliff, I word in your shell like mate if I may, you do not buy a big bike to save money, you buy one to waste money.
My R1 uses as much fuel as my 3L turbo Vigo, a rear tire bout 9,000 of yer Thai bahts worth will last me 5,000 Kms. (Rigger about 2,000kms)
The ones on my Vigo are 100,000Km old and still working.
Big bikes are money sink holes.
Ha..ha..I'll keep that in mind. Just want mine for the occasional trip to the market. Ur right though, it's not necessary...I just want something bigger than my Honda wave 125.
He has tried to download phots etc but his phone internet speed Useless,
But this is what he wrote to me in the email;
"original Bandit S year 2005 imported from Japan. now 20000 km,every servise, new chain and new oil last week, beautiful bike dark blue, tires only 2500 km, registered in my name, fully insured with green book(50000 bath); Iridium spark plugs
385000 Bath
Maybe its a bit more than you want to pay but if you are interested email me and I will pass on his contact details. BTW He is A German guy living in Pattaya
Regards Harvey:UK:
