Whats the name of the place?
I wrote the name down on an ATM slip, which I then threw away...sorry:(
^ Gee thanks :(
I just asked a buddy of mine if there were any Indian places in Rangsit too!
The basement is pretty big at F.P. and I am hungry, can you give any directions or what it is close to. I am headed there this afternoon so the wife can shop :( and I can try this new nameless Indian Place :p
Its at the Central store end. On the right side walking from Central, about half way to the centre. TP
shouldnt be to hard top find.
Thats what I thought!!!
Chitown, Did you manage to locate it?
sorting trough the many nonthai restaurants no doubt.
^is your keyboard broken?
no, but my monitor is.
I hope it's good, I don't live far from there and a good ruby would make a nice change.
Cheers Chitown..TP
I ate there last night, the food was really good, probably the best curry I have had in Thailand. However, the service was still a bit dodgy, but they were all helpful and friendly. They had also run out of non-Indian soft drinks which was slightly annoying. In conclusion though it is defiantly worth a visit, perhaps wait another couple of weeks first though.
^ No, I was just passing by and remembered this thread, so I thought I would pop in and give it a try.
Oh and the prices are reduced at the moment which makes it great value for money. They even have a lunch buffet for 190 baht a person reduced from 290 at 11.00-14.30.

They have another branch in Bangkok according to their website, which doesn't have the Rangsit branch on yet.
A very nice addition.
The lunch buffet seems a hint anemic with only 11 items and several of those being deserts, drinks, nan, rice, salad, papad and chutney. (According to the link)
But clearly worth a try.
Thanks Madjbs.
So it is called Spicy Maharaja?
^Yep.
Now they are opening one in a new "Strip Mall" setup next to Macro Srinakerin...opening looks about a month away.
What's a "strip mall"? Sounds exciting but probably it is not what I am thinking.
An Americanism and as you point out hardly an exciting place.;)Quote:
