are there too many TV threads on TD?

There have been a lot of TV members join here recently.
Some are using their old nicks but a lot are using a new nick.
Some threads are full of ex-TVers and I can understand the feelings of the resident TDers.
It takes time to integrate and make new friends.
Give it a couple of months and you won't remember what this thread was about.

Yes, we's all like to know his real nik.

I would encourage them to use their old nick so that they are recognized and fit in quicker but some won't do it.

Scampy and ThaiPauly both started here with a new nick and then later wanted it changed to their old nick.

SK, I agree with you.
I have never had a second nick in my life but it seems to be standard practice on TV to have a several nicks registered in case you get banned/suspended.

Poolie, when you started this thread did you mean threads that discuss TV, or threads that contains posts about TV ?

I was going to post in Memock's 'Flooded in" thread .
I wanted to point out that it was an interesting thread but would be instantly deleted on TV.
I stopped myself because I don't want to keep harping on and on and on about TV

I think the best idea would be to stop comparing TD and TV, it's a waste of time.

Any TV poster comes on here with a clean slate and it's up to them if they fit in or not, but they shouldn't get abuse because of where they're coming from.

Some of these people can be cured and integrated into the society - look at Thetyim, he can almost play in the games room on his own now! :)

TV does seem to be a bit of an obsession here - can't really see why all the interest in it.

If Thaivisa is giving you hassle,why not just approach their advertisers and offer them cut price slots here - with a free 6 month lead in if they give you exclusivity.

Your posts over on Thai Visa always made me laugh ,and I probably wouldn't fart in your face ,yes it has changed a lot over there ,but it is still head and shoulders better than here.

There is more to life than swearing and accusing.

Its doesnt make for good reading here and when I have got my 5 posts up and can look at the short time bar section that dirty dog advertises ,I doubt if I will post again.

Why all the anger towards Thai Visa ,it is pathetic really.

This is a third rate forum for one line wankers,there is no subtlety here, no effort made to entertain intelligently, its mostly verbal attacks on anything and anybody with no rhyme, reason or validity behind them.

I can understand why some people prefer it here, they dont have to think too much, just post the first crap that comes into their minds, when your audience largely consists of boneheads then vicious barbs and obscenities is all that is necessary.

Standards should be raised, but when you're dealing with brit ex-brickies in pattaya i understand that may be hard to achieve.

But I dont see you fitting in here, unless you drop your standards like some of the other breakaways have done.

The TV mob who have yet to be banned by TV, presumably owing to either their moderating or arse licking status are getting a little twitchy cos their banned members are enjoying themselves here.
This place is relatively new and is growing extremely fast.
It's changed massively from my early posting days and is a whole lot of fun.

Contrary to the farting persons opinion i believe this place to be full of wit, humour and intelligence. 3 things desperately lacking at TV.

Actually I believe they know this already, which is why they are coming into our hood itching for a scrap.
