I'm about to surrender the storeroom to the kids, so it will henceforth be known as the bunker. I've removed most of the shelves and left one stack in case it comes handy; probably will, but if not it can go.
To suit its intended purpose the bunker should be tiled, and all was going sweet till a mate mentioned that granite is harder wearing and might be worth considering as a long term one off. More expensive installed, but now it's an option.
My original thought in round numbers was 20k all in for tiles, and from a brief visit to the local quarry on Sukhumvit granite would be more or less double.
The bunker is around 40sqm, and add a bit for stairs, ramp and sides.
What do the pros think?

Tiles for the steps, but not impressed with the selection of non-slip/rubber for the ramp which could get quite slippery when wet, so how do we keep the utility of the ramp and kids from going ass over?
