but alas, not as good as those in the OP. :)
You do seem like someone striving for a skill.
Me too, actually.
We might all be the world's best at...something.
For Dillinger I'm guessing competitive hot dog consumption.
And then there are skilled people you wouldn't want to swap with.
Do you play at all CJ?
Been playing about 22 yrs. Will shred out a few tunes over a few beers with you and Nooners when up North if one of you does the singing. :)
My hero;

One minute he was in the hot club..the next he was getting dry roasted in his caravan.
TD CSI maybe not needed to work out how that particular fire started.

Just contacted the Guinness Book of Records. They informed me all hotdogs have to be consumed orally (none up the poop hole). Rules him out
I play a bit of guitar. Remember one night many moons ago, had a few bevvies with Withers and he crashed at Bogon mansions. His eyes lit up when he saw the guitar and proceeded to make my ears bleed with his playing for a whole 9 seconds.
Miss that bastard. Hope he is well and not turned into a hipster like Somtamslap. :)
^ maybe they'd make an exception for a Cambodian hooker's pooper?

I used to live with the bald bloke playing banjo. In fact, as I had a job on the rigs at the time, I bought him his first banjo. Yes, a Framus long neck.
He proceeded to tune it like a sitar and freaked us all out when we we were tripping in the park.
Happy days in Aberdeen way back when.

CJ, are you into Rory Gallagher?
My mother grew up with him in Cork, and they lived together in London in the 60's, where she went on to meet my dad later. Still got some of his stuff back home.
Bela Fleck!
For two hours I've been trying to remember the name of a US banjo player with an Eastern Europeanish name who I saw play at AUA in Bangkok in the late nineties.
Interesting that he mentions 'Deliverance' as changing the deal for banjo players. :D

Your OP title gets on my tits a bit. Wish I could,...of course you can jackcracker. Knew a guy who picked up a guitar in his 50s. So good, only regret is,...no he has no regrets.
Another woman with a violin in retirement. Could have a symphony seat.
OK this is from 2008, imagine what he's like now.

What a guitarist and player Rory was. On fire on stage till he was dragged down with the medication he was taking for his fear of flying.
Shame he never married and settled down on a farm in Ireland, playing in the local pub once a week.
Seems like he should have married your Mum!
Just re-acquainting myself with the guitar as my young lad is starting to play at school, and seems to be quite keen..
For the rank amateur, this is pretty good. http://www.tropicalmba.com/learn-to-play-guitar/https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?a...id=13527&stc=1
Be careful what you wish for.
Let's just say a friend of the devil is a friend of mine.
