Specifically Boston or New England Clam chowder I reckon.
Dunno but it looks bloody good!
Looks like a common Fisherman's Wharf treat. Depends n the vendor mostly Parisian (a brand now defunct) Sourdough with some New England clam chowder. Was tiny shack did their own thick with clam meat....
Oughta red you Hilly, I've been thinkin a lot about "The Streets Of San Francisco" and all the restaurants thereon...

Nope. That's not Merican. No butter on the toast (and I hate the bladdy English version of toast served cold and then you put the butter on and it doesn't melt in). Camping out? Starting bottom right and moving counter-clockwise: scrambled egg, sausages, something with sour cream, crispy bacon, and I dunno two white creamy blobs -- eggs benedict or bikkies and milk gravy?
