most land is zoned, but alas the zoning laws aint implimented that well, anyway it could be worse, they could build a shanty town next door to you :)
Basically, the answer is it depends... Where i live now next to William the height is 3 floors maybe 4. Unless you build a Bhudda room higher. Can you see the problem?
Hillbilly you are out in Ram??
AO, I live in Moobann Sanmmakorn. Ramkhanheng Soi 110/112.
Damn I thought you were up in the boonies. Well Ram is the boonies to me to many traffic jams!!!
Now I know we gotta meet up. Arent you going home soon? See the family?
Tommorow, I'm gone for 3 weeks! Kan you say Amerikan food?
Grits, Biscuits and gravey, beans such as pinto, black eyed and navy. Cream gravy, cornbread, fried chicken, okra, catfish, hushpuppies, and barbecue!!
Thats the best I can do. Oh chicken fried steak, mashed taters, pecan pie, hash, red eye gravy!!
can you 2 get a room somewhere :) ie not on my nice construction bit of the forum :)
Hell, since I moved to New York, I haven't had any of those good foods. I love fried okras. Hushpuppies are available since Long John Silvers opened up in NY.Quote:

When I order Seppo food in Bangkok, I often get what looks like a piece of sponge cake, but it tastes like shite. What is that called?

Getting back to the 'Stupid Question' thread.
I have seen Thai builders using bamboo in place of steel as a foundation reinforcement, when laying a concrete base for a parking area.
Is this as daft as I think it is or is there some basis of sense in the practice?
Believe it or not bamboo actually works for parking areas, ok not as long as rebar but not far off, not that I would do a job using bamboo though :)
as my daddy used to say .....
"theres no stoopid questions, only stoopid ppl!"
A bit like my boss said to me when first started working after uni:Quote:
