If I had to eat only one thing for the rest of my life, I would ask for something like this dish.

leveraging the multiple definitions of dish to my advantage :)
A roast beef, mashed potato, roast potato, carrots and cabbage sandwich with a dash of horseradish and gravy between the beef and the potatoes.
has the OP given consideration to writing for teen magazines ?
My late and much beloved mothers home made meat and potato pie with short crust pastry, real mushy peas and gravy.
My second ex wifes mother could do a mean meat and potato pie to be fair.
A Chinaman can live on a pound of rice for the rest of his life...
(He'll be dead in a week or two)...
Unreasonable and repressive hypothetical...
I couldn't exist being dependent on one nor would go along with such a request.
....and don't ask me my favourite colour - love 'em all without comparisons.
Or an odoriferous reminder of an excellent repast....much like a snifter of brandy at the end of a superb meal..Quote:

Rack of lamb with the trimmings.
Steak sandwich with fried onions and BBQ sauce, side of coleslaw and potato salad. Vanilla smoothie.
Sounds like fhe final meals of "dead men walking"...

Extremely good for you and very tasty with the right salad dressing.
Technically the Buffet is classed as one dish (someone orders Steak and chips another orders buffet)...
I'll have the buffet.
I would go with a christmas dinner, full option with all the trimmings.
^ Fat bastard. :)
chunky cod and chips with lashings of salt and vinegar and Heinz tomato ketchup
I would be happy to dine on a fresh crayfish sandwich, with a little salad on the side
Soup, any sort.
The meal that goes with anything........as long as it's toast.

A good sized bowl of Cap'n Crunch.
Umm..yummy.
You miss the cunning plan. With a spread that involved turkey, roasted ham, veg, stuffing, gravy, roast and mash potatoes, pigs in blankets etc etc etc you would not have to eat just the same old boring salad every day. You can take bits and pieces of it to make different meals each time. Possibilities are endless.
Masala Dosa
The best ganja pizza from Phnom Penh waterside
I'll go with a med rare roast beef or stuffed rolled leg of lamb with roast vegies, slaw and fresh white bread and all the usual condiments.
