I just saw something that said Findus lasagne turned out to be 100% horsemeat but I can't see what the big deal is; if you buy Findus frozen food, you obviously couldn't care less about what you eat anyway.
what is wrong with horsemeat ?
nothing per se
but they say the product is made from beef, which is not horse
No horse but eat crow on a regular basis.
Don't see the problem really, horses are just slightly more charming cows.
yawn.........

It will be interesting to see how Findus explains this apparent contamination!

Their PR will point out that it's a massive improvement over the soiled nappies they had previously been using as filler.
Dunno, it has as much protein as beef with less calories and fat so if anything it's more 'right'.Quote:

As Dr Andy said nothing wrong with horse as long as they are not selling it as beaf.
It's actually quite funny watching the news with all the chavs and lower class moaning and being disgusted that they have eaten horse meat, yet they continue to fill up their trollies/baskets with loads of processed shite which really is bad for you..

Its true about the fish, though not surprised its to expensive.
Not sure i agree with you on that, in restaurants around the UK there is many fish on offer, and popular, the fish you speak off that the average brit eats are mostly farm produced, and most probably similar to processed foods.
partly true but lots of fish is now unidentified and labelled simply omega 3 ,eg
fish fingers, but they still not cheap
whats funny about the UK markets is such fish as pollack and coley are now popular. solely because there cheaper.
I either smoke or inject my Horse, like.
