Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan on CNN
-
Interesting that CNN would even consider a guest [and promotion thereof] of the likes of Alex Jones.
Looks as Mr.Jones has come into his own.....with the American mainstream corporate establishment media. A complete and personal contradiction - if you know and understand his philosophies and body of work.
-
^I've got an Alex Jones app.
I'll watch this later as I'm in the pub.:)
-
Maybe they should just ban Americans with an IQ of less than 80?

....and he has a beehive of followers.
Cultish influence.
-
Piers morgan tries to interview an apoplectic retarded american arsehole barely able to control his anger, vitriol and bile. He was promoting the freedom to carry arms.
Entertaining and very telling.
God bless america

"1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms..."

I believe they knew exactly what they were doing. Very clever.;)
-
When Jones started affecting a British accent towards the end I just had to laugh- it was great comedy- the man is a lunatic.
Morgan certainly showed a lot of patience, but it was also a matter of giving Jones more rope.
-
Jones is the epitome of why citizens should not own guns. A crazed gasbag lunatic who following the show should have been sectioned, his house raided and firearms confiscated.
Well in a civilised society that may have occurred but in the US i suspect his behaviour was merely looked upon as normal.:)

Yes. A sad reflective upon the highly fanciful culture.
-
Pretty funny when Jones godwinned himself.

Suspect?Really? Not even close.
-
Alex jones has always been and will always be a cleverly placed plant.
-
-
Alex Jones was too loud, but he did have some good points.
I see Piers Morgan's points also,
but I think the whole "discussion" --> campaign against guns is taking place because of the Newtown shooting.
It's not as simple as 100% for or 100% against gun ownership.

Yes, it's very simple Milky.
More guns for all Americans.
Problem solved.:mid:

You could look at it like that, and his popularity is growing.
The way it appeared to me (and I could be wrong) was "Oh Alex Jones is behind the petition to get me out of America, lets get him on the show so he can make an utter twat of himself in front of millions of people"
It worked too.

Normally there is a desk separating the host and guest on that show. Even for Anne Coulter and Jesse Ventura. Buy Peirs wanted to be close to this loony bastard I guess
-
It all comes down to this..
Would you rather encounter a gang of hostile Negroes on the street wielding knives.. or wielding firearms..
i'll take my chances with the knives

Guns are old hat. Lets up the anti and use ball bearing vest bombs, as all the perpetrators "commit suicide".
-
Morgan should not have sat so close to Jones, and probably regretted not having brought a towel to wipe off the spit. The "interview" answers the question of just how bad one must be to make former Murdoch stooge Piers Morgan look good by comparison.
-
Why does piers waste his time trying to debate with Alex Jones, other than let the guy make a absolute fool of himself? anger management issues, diversion all the traps an amateur debater and poorly equipped moron falls straight into.
-
It was hardly a debate. Not even a shouting match. Jones just ranted and allowed himself to become an object of ridicule. Those who proclaim that the second amendment is there to protect the people from a tyrannical government were exposed as utter morons.

:bsflag:
He didn't make one, you either didn't watch it or are a bigger fool than you pretend to be.
-
I'm suprized they didn't have Jones in a cage with Morgan throwing bananas at him.:butters:

To most Americans, Alex is intellectual. His obnoxious and ignorant bullying merely showed them that he can out debate the limey US of A style. Let's drop bombs on wedding parties to free them from tyranny type thing.

He is all that and more.
Historically, belonging to that patriot/flag waving/Bircher/Christian-Aryan Nation/American exceptionalism crowd.
Associated with the predicable: Jewish/U.N/New World order conspiracies, boogieman under every bed, etc.
But, as you state: "to most Americans"....
He's really not that widely known to most Americans [90%], but to a select and loyal following. Those occasions when he has such opportunity to go mainstream - tv, radio, print - he'll grab it.
Even having well-established websites and regular streaming internet broadcasts doesn't truly make him generally known.
-
How many Jack Daniels' does it take to get an 'Alex Jones Voice' ?
