What a successful relationship look like?:p
Separate houses works quite well.
Seperate towns too
I fully believe that.Quote:

I think this is a great idea and have thought about it before...a room for rooting and a bedroom each to snore and fart as much as you want...
your rooting room could be set up in different scenes as the mood takes you.
your sleeping room, decorated in warm sleepy colours and lots of pillows...
:1st:
I've no problem with the shared bedroom, but I'm with lom when it comes to lavatories. A man's lavatory is his castle. I would also say separate living rooms are a good idea, or at least a TV room and a reading room. I've have no problem reading whilst someone watches what they like on the television, but I do get a little irked when without fail I am interrupted with nonsenseness when the adverts come on.
Especially those bladdy Thai adverts:mad:Quote:

My wife is a lovely lady.
However, we eat, work, sleep, etc. together. Honestly, after many years of doing such...
Not dumbing down for the sake of thread post count are we William??
:)
^every trick I have learnt is from you Oh Master!!
No I've been married for 5 years and only ever spent 3 days apart in that time, I can honestly say I missed my wife like crazy during the time we were apart. IMHO the secret is to find a good woman and just really work on the relationship never take her for granted and have sex as often as you can.
Can't be much if you only been apart for 3 days :pQuote:

I think that one of the best things of being with someone is sharing a bed. It's nice and cozy to wake up in the early hours and to have someone to cuddle up to. It's reassuring too, sharing a bed with only pillows is okay up to an extent, but pillows are no good for protection against the wardrobe monster....If you're with someone real and when the monster attacks you can say, "Take her!, Take her!"
The way I do it is to have totally different bed rooms/study areas etc. and whenever we want eachother we invite eachother in for company or a bonk or whatever.
At night, mostly I'm the last to fall asleep, sometimes on my own, sometimes I just crawl in beside her and hold her...
Now I'm in Thailand and she's in NZ, my best mate ever.
Her and the dog.
We miss eachother, but got no illusions re.what might turn up.
We've given eachother the greatest freedoms possible, and know that we both needed it this way.
She's my best friend.
The dog or your wife is your best friend?
Mrs q, aint you ever owned a dog? of course he is talking about his dog..

Separate bedrooms worked great for my grandparents.
Having separate TVs is more important IMO. Had one for watching and one for the XBox--both connected to satellite. Saved quite a bit of arguing and fights for the remote.
