And it was crap.
Seriously boring, just sat here surfed the web a bit, cooked some halibut and potatoes, had a chat with a girl on msn and that was my lot.
I remember a time when Friday nights were fun.:(

got pissed.......... :bunny3:
Just made mexican food got a mate round having a few beers now and listening
to the editors.
Great night so far
I spent the afternoon helping my old man set up his hydro electric scheme on his farm before having dinner out there, Back by 9pm and in bed by 11pm. Just the way I like it!
Even If I wanted to go out it would have been boring as it was Good Friday and everything was closed.
I forgot it was even Easter. Now I'm more depressed, where's my egg?

^ plover lover! i had to work.. i hate easter! nay other time of the year no one eats a fruit bun.. put a cross on it and every bastard wants 6 of em!
I remember better days too. Well, I have been sick for a couple days so I had an excuse for last night. I hope to get out today though but just for the day because I am still a bit sick.
Just a few quiet beers down the shop with some Locals. There was (yet another) opening party by the lake last night, but couldn't be bothered. Home at about 10pm, in bed by 11.
Bangkok really crushes any hope you may once have had. A depressing place indeed. Get 70 km outside of town and the locals and quality of life improves so much
I had dinner at the American Rib and went to fight traffic for an hour. Then posted on TD, watched some porn and went to sleep.
Hopefully today will be a little better.
I had quite a pleasant evening - Dinner on the Oriental terrace and then Jazz at the bamboo bar.
Great jazz band actually. The double bass player has a most impressive mullet as well.
Enjoyed a very pleasing bottle of Californian Chardonnay and was home in bed by 11.30.
Went to a Charity Quiz night (in aid of the dogs). Drank a lot of Chang. Our team came in second, so we won a free Sunday lunch each. Enjoyed myself greatly & got over 30,000bt for the dogs. A very good night, all told! :D
Easter eggs and a cup of tea with a bit of Saxondale series 2 then a good old 4 player game of Tiger Woods 2008, which I won. Also greased up my rubik's cube and did some TDing, then fell asleep watching some boxing.
I went to my office annual party, I was MC again.
Some magnificent fancy dress costumes, mine wasn't one of them.
Didn't get too drunk and missed the food again.
Stayed in and finished the property promo I have been working on.
Downloaded songs by The Stranglers.
Got another sms load of bitter gibberish from the Philippines.
Had some stir-fry mushroom, asparagus and prawn.
Went to bed.
I met my workmate at Absolute7 bar and I also invited my good mate and his gf there too. While we were drinking, she went quiet then my mate took her home then he sent an SMS to me saying that they broke up and the issue was because of me. She got jealous of me, fuck knows why though.
Anyway, my workmate and I went to Bamboo bar on Nana soi3 methinks. I had a good time there then it's closed at 1am so I told him to piss off then I went to meet my mate at the bar around where he lives. We met 2 South African blokes and an aussie girl there so we all had a long chat till 4 in the morning then I came home.
Yeah, hang over now, crap...
Availed myself of the privileges of POETS Day. Stopped off on the way home at my favourite watering for a few beers and pleasant company. Quite a few more beers and a couple of cigars sitting in front of Chateau Kerr listening to old Mental as Anything records turned up bloody loud.
Then a discussion with Mrs. Kerr about plans to go to Korat which turned into an argument, her throwing a hissy fit, and now what looks like a quiet weekend in Bangkok as she aint talking to me. Whether this is a good thing or not, I guess as my old zen master says, "we'll see" :).
^Yes,POETS day, is a great day.
^ Ain't that the truth!
Be getting my slippers and a pipe this week.
On the other hand I didn't wake up hungover this morning having spent far to much money on what probably would have been a crap night anyway.:)
Neither did i, it was this afternoon with a hangover:) Now i have to go grocery shopping and it's so hot outside it hurts!Quote:

Was simply glad that a taxing week at work was over.
Highlight of the evening was an hour or so trip to Tesco with the missus.
Sad or what?
Brought the missus for a medical in the nearest city and splashed out on a romantic dinner at DaDario's afterwards, but got peed off when she ordered a steak for the dog who didn't even take a bite.
Must have been past its edible date.
I mean the steak.
Not your dog. :)
Stroller, is the new DaDario's next to that Thai place on the corner, underneath the Bluebar or something?
Don't worry, i'm sure you will eat it later, the dog not the steak that is:)Quote:

Take a turn from the "Bluebar or something" towards the airport and it is on the left side, 200 meters down the road.
Our dog is a spoilt little thing, eats better than I do. She got the steak mixed with an egg this morning.
And no, this one is not for grilling.
I went to work.......................... Deep joy:(
I had lunch at my ex-wife's coffee shop...with my ex-wife...funny how things are better now that we are not an 'item'...
then on to Wall Street to watch Canterbury win again...sorry make that Crusaders...
always amazes me how so many expats get to have Friday afternoon off...
ran into a good kiwi mate who is over from Hong Kong for Easter weekend and that required a small visitation to other places on Soi 33...
stopped off at the Happy Pub on the way home...that's the place where the ladies remove an item of clothing for every drink...most only have three items so that's 90x3= 270 baht making it the best value bar in Bangkok...
home early enough to still rise this morning in time for work...
I get on very well with my ex girlfriend, she's amongst one of my closest friends in Thailand. It wasn't long ago I was wondering if I could throw her over the balcony at night and get away with calling it a suicide.:)
Well Saturday wasn't as bad, I've just walked in.:)
Yesterday I arrived the police station at 3:45PM then I asked them where to pay for the ticket. One police pointed to the right and said going there so I walked to that way and looked for something about the ticket but I can't see any so I walked back and asked him again he said "I said walk to that way, out of the building, the office is outside" WTF? He didn't say that at the first time! Anyway, I took his advice. I walked out and I didn't see anything so I asked the police outside where to pay the ticket, he said it's inside the building. Jeeezzzz... these people then I walked in again and talked to another guy, he took me to one room which about 4 police men in there then they asked me what happened, why the police took my driving licence then one of them said like "he should not do that with a good looking girl like you" then spoke more about this shit, WTF? Guess what, one of them said the office was closed, it's closed at 4PM for weekends so I had to come back again tomorrow or anyday. :zx11pissed: I was so angry! They kept me wondering around, wasted my time and said it's closed! WTF?!!!
I hate them, all of them, they really piss me off.
^TiT:)
If it's anything like the last one, I'll be worn to a bloody stump before too long.Quote:
