Hatch Roberts RIP

For those of you who are in and around Bangkok, today saw the passing of one of the most pleasant expats in the city...

Hatch apparently succomed to a heart attack during the middle of the afternoon whilst making a cuppa for his mate who had just arrived from Oz.

He was always easy to see cause his long pony tail was his distinctive trade mark...

He was the active Bangkok partner in the car leasing business Q-cars...

younger than me...without any obvious medical problems...

quite a shock I can tell you...

Hatch? 'The Welsh Rod Stewart'? haven't seen him around for a year or two.

he changed his entertainment venues when he started Q-Cars and mostly frequented the expat haunts on 33...

Used to see him in The Bulls Head a lot, but I dont go in there much myself nowadays.

I got the note from Rick the Prick this morning. A bit of a shock, and he will be genuinely missed by many people here.
