Wanted Nikon D 5000

WANT TO BUY NIKON D5000
Any information regarding shopping for & buying a Nikon D 5000 in Bangkok will be a great help.
I've read prior posts but am hoping for up dated recent info.
I'd also any info on purchasing a camera / lens from Amazon.com and having it shipped to BKK what are customs / import duties etc. or should I consider a trip to KL, Penang Singapore ?

theres a Nikon rebates program going on in many countries at the moment, £50 off D5000 camera if you buy before xmas i think.
