I can remember watching one of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekend programmes in which he took a look at the porn industry.

One of the porn films that were being shot was a gay one and as I remember, one of the performers was totally straight but had been unable to get any straight work so was filling in, so to speak, with a gay role.
