A GRUESOME vid of a biker hitting a car at 75mph has been released by police to shock bikers into slowing down.
The bike - doing more than twice the speed limit in the 30mph zone in Hamburg, Germany - ploughs into the side of a turning car sending its rider flying through the air.

The biker somersaults and slides more than 50ft down the road before lying motionless in the road.
Astonishingly the rider SURVIVED but suffered serious injuries.
Hamburg police released the film from CCTV recordings to publicise the release of traffic accident statistics showing 4,500 people were killed on German roads last year.

I was always taught that if youre in that situation try and brake but do it standing up, then the force of the impact is taken in your legs rather than your head slamming into the vehicle. Maybe he wasnt listening that day.

The rider actually changes lanes to hit the Merc. If he'd stayed in his own lane then he would have passed behind the car.

The car driver wasnt exactly bright, just pulled out into an oncoming flow of traffic without stopping by the looks. Idiot magnetism I guess.

I like the Thai version of encouraging bikers to drive slower, policemen with baseball bats trying to hit them as they ride past at speed.

he obviously saw the car and assumed the car saw him and would stop. which is why he went right, otherwise he would have gone left. He had plenty of room to pull up.
I had a similar crash where some old biddy pulled out on me, no where to go but into her car.
hitting the ground at 80kph hurts..............when you wake.
