I went to Cambodia once and in the middle of Angkor Wat, there they are, on their bikes, white shirts, black pants, bike helmets and name tags.

I arrived in the Ugandan town of Mbarrara at two in the morning on a public bus.
The town was pretty wrecked in the fighting by Tanzanian troops to over-throw Idi Amin.
At two in the morning, nothing was moving, but, there were still Tanzanian soldiers wandering the streets, drunk and armed.
Just outside of the bus station was a small church with an immaculate lawn. I went there and rang the bell. An white American came out and abused me for waking him up.
I asked him if I could stay in the church until day-break. He said that was out of the question. I asked if I could sleep on his lawn. He refused.
I ended up back at the bus station where I sat for four hours.
In the daytime, I saw that the church belonged to the Seventh Day Adventists.
I had stayed in many Sikh temples while wandering around East Africa and had never been refused, so, I was shocked by the attitude shown by this so called "Christian".

I hate 'em.

Ah, yes, the redoubtable Brother Tony a/k/a James Anthony Webb and his mob. Next time he's around, don't get caught up in the main show of preaching and heckling. Instead watch the fringes of the crowd that gathers. There's a good chance you'll see a guy and gal, mid-20's, dressed down, sporting a video camera that's just a little bit fancier than you'd expect a tourist to be carrying, carefully documenting the good works... It wouldn't be the least bit surprising if near-professional quality video is getting around in evangelical cirlces in the West as a way to solicit donations.

Did a loop from Mae Sot around Mae Hong Son and saw a few of these morons along the way - asked them how many wives each of them kept and if they banged any of the local talent while in Thailand.

I gave them some points on becoming successful missionaries and suggested they bribe the locals with pots and pans and some sharp cooking knives as those were sure incentives to filling their quota of converts.
