Open Office Writer - how do you switch languages?

I'm using Open Office Writer instead of MS Word, and I want to know how to switch languages from English to Thai in the same document. With nasty old MS Word, it was one or two clicks, but with Open Office Writer I'm fucked if I can work out how to do it. :(

Can anyone help?
