Thank You Teak Door; Some Info On “timba”
As some of you know I’ve recently stumbled upon this gem, “teak door, the Thailand forum.” I was looking for free internet resources to post my help wanted add. I soon found a well of like minded individuals who had some interesting, not to mention hilarious, things to say. I browsed around for a while and then subscribed. Gotta say it’s among my top 5 best decisions since moving to the LOS. You all are great. Along with finding a place to interact with others pursuing similar paths in life for whatever reason, I’ve found a place where I can get valuable info regarding my path.
So here’s the deal for those of you who like what I say; for those who don’t…ts…I’m gonna do it anyway. I have wifi going in my place, which is what allows me to post what spews from my mind all the time in the kitchen, while I’m working. This keeps me entertained as there is a lack of banter in my kitchen due to the fact that I speak about as much Thai as my employees do English. I’m gonna keep posting my material relating to Food life in exchange for your valuable and entertaining feedback. I’m writing recipes to assemble in a cookbook and this is a great way to test them as I go. This is also a great way to advertise my restaurant in a tasteful manner. I get to talk about my place. You all get free recipes, answers to general food questions, and some insight to restaurant life. I want people to watch my place grow. It'll be fun for everyone.
I'm doing everything I can right now to take over the world, I'm pursuing my writing dreams, I'm molding myself into a top notch chef, I'm creating a new business model for the hospitality industry in Thailand based on guerrilla marketing, I'm putting together a revolutionary website for Bangkok, I'm overcoming ridiculous obstacles related to language and culture, and trying to live the dream. I need your help. Thanks for everything so far.
