Cant seem to see my posts from today in the new posts section and not all of them in the my post links..any ideas?
data base time lag , i've noticed it as well , give it 10 minutes ?
You can't see your own posts in new post because they are not new...you have seen them already when you posted them...
Yes. you've already seen the posts that you've posted so they're not new to you anymore. You'll only see posts that are new when you hit 'new posts', not old ones that you've previously read.Quote:

fix this!
^^^ hey what do you mean??? when i do a new post it goes into the new posts then it lists all the new post for today...so i cant see my ones but can see other peoples
so what your saying is once i have read a post once it goes from the 'new posts??? then how do i read it again?
having made the post it is assumed that you have read it.
you pull it out of your ass you dumb shit.
Ow got it...so once you have read a post it is gone from new posts???? Callme thick but how do you re read a post if you havent replied???
and that doesnt explain why this topic or the last one isnt in 'my topics' but that could be database lag like some1 said
ok so my first effort was off track ............ , I got this one :)Quote:

Find it again in the forum section you posted it in, it shows as the last post in the thread you posted it in on the main page for the forum section.Quote:

No, it's not a stupid concept, one would assume you read your own comments already, hence they are not "new posts".Quote:

Course its a stupid concept...you read somebodys post you arnt necessarily gonna make a note of what sub-forum it was posted in, thus if you wanna re-read it you have to go trawling through the forums looking for where it was posted...far easier to leave the link up...
and ow gods of wisdom why is the last 2 post's including this one not showin up in 'my topics'?
seems one of the weaker members of the dusty ajarn herd has migrated over.
Ok, OK!
We'll rewrite the forum software because 'The Expert' thinks it's a stupid concept...
^^^Nice one can that be done this afternoon??
^^^ Hello McFly...Is this not a topic...is it not something i started....shoudl it not be with the rest of them???
Fook me, i love the way everyone is quick on the insults keys....
^^^Okay so if you go and buy a new car as soon as you have looked at it then it becomes an old car right????
