Getting Thais to get rid of junk

How do you get your Thai wife or girlfriend to allow you to get rid of junk and rubbish that you will never use?

Ok my place is a 6 storey building, we moved here from a 5 storey double unit that wasn't so full up with junk about 9 years ago, we have had 9 years of collecting more junk and the place is absolutely full up, I used to collect old furniture with the idea of restoring it, nice hobby and all that, but like cars it costs more than what the actual value is and you can just buy the second hand version a lot easier.

But it has got to the stage where I have to sneak stuff out to throw it away as it all has some value or maybe used in our next lives or some such thing, glasses with chips or cracks I chuck out straight away, if I get caught I get grief, we must have about 300 glasses in the cupboards so it's not as though we need that many, everything you can think I have a broken version that needs throwing away, so basically I need someone to kidnap my girlfriend and then I have to fake a break in where all this lovely junk and rubbish gets stolen.

Jees I really do need to get rid of some of this rubbish, I am pretty sure I have some car cassette players somewhere :(

When we last moved house I took the opportunity to ditch a lot of the crap that my wife had accumulated. I simply put my foot down down and said: 'Woman, this shite has got to go!'.

And then I put it all in big bags and threw it out before she got home. :)

Hmmm, so your saying the easy answer for most farangs is to buy some land and have a house built on it and then move there? I was hoping for an easier way like the kidnapping idea.

All really depends on just who wears the pants in the family.

But of coarse if you say you do, and throw a bunch of that good shit away, then chances of you getting into her pants any time soon is damn slim..

Last time I moved I had the ex-girlfriends parents come round from E-sarn and took away a load of stuff. Then a nice young lady I met in some sordid part of town volunteered to come around and took the rest.

My MiL is in charge of refuse disposal.
She sells everything. Empty bottles, plastic containers, cardboard boxes, plastic bags, bottle tops, empty cans....you name it and she finds some daft cnut to give her money for it.

What's it worth to ya. I got a brother in law in the monk hood. Somewhat famous. For modest fee I'll have him come down and "check out your condo for ghosts and bad luck stuff." Send photos of all the stuff you want to be rid of and I guarantee when he's finished with the missus, don't stand in the doorway or you will be trampled by her as she runs out with all the stuff.

After she has it all in the street be sure to put a For Sale sign on it or it will be there for months.:)

Pay a mor doo to tell her a vicious ghost is furious at her hoarding and will rip out her intestines if she does not throw away everything her husband tells her to. Sorted.

On this my experience is quite different.
In the few years I spent in Thailand alone, I actually did not throw anything away, from computer parts to VCR tapes, old Tvs, whatever.
My wife got rid of everything, even scared Scampy who was keeping some stuff in my place (including photos) and we thought for some time that she got rid of everything.
She did but well, she kept the pictures...
