Young man coming to Thailand to marry ex bargirl. Been sending her money to keep her and the family, usual shit. What should he do to test this ex bargirl in that she's the genuine love of his life and not the tool to getting him to part with his money ?

get him to tell her the money is gone, and not send or give any money for 2 months, see what happens...
Tell her that he's lost his job and he's going to have to to work for subsistence wages in Thailand, but, what the hell, they'll be together and that's what counts.
A family member has had a bad accident and he needs to spend all his money on medical bills, would there be any way he could borrow some money from her family?

First of all he's not my mate. I'm the only English speaking guy in our village that's approachable. The other one's a twat.
