Some advice, please.
This will sound stupid to some, but no flamming please, because i really don't know the answer to this one. About 6 months back i bought a new car, the finance went into my name as i have the relivant paper work and the deal was done. Now,my question is, after the car is payed for, can it be put into my name. My uncle in-law ( who speaks excellent english and has been great to me since i first arived here) says that after the finance is payed off it must go into my wifes name. i know the law about land and such forth, but what bout cars. I have bought bikes before but they have always been in my wifes name. So, am i just the person funding this car, or will I actually own this vehicle once it is payed for.
Cheers for your imput.

Yes you can have the car in your name.
You must have a non-imm visa in your passport and proof of address

As far as i know if you have a non-immigrant visa you can have the car in your name. If you have the finance in your name then i presume you have a work permit, so definately no problem having it in your name.
