The media can become a negative agent of socialization. In other words, a conveyor of propaganda.

First, take a few minutes to reflect upon both the "Trump Russia Collusion Hoax" and the (by design) mass hysteria that it created. Next, do a Google Image search for "Hitler propaganda quotes". The obvious similarities could evoke troubling thoughts.*
