Family of four die in Suphan Buri house fire

Former provincial councillor of Suphan Buri, Phusit Roongrojchaiporn, his wife and two children died in a fire at their home in the Mueang district this morning.


The fire broke out at about 6.30am this morning in one of a row houses owned by Phusit. He and his family were unable to escape in time.


It took some time for firefighters to get the blaze under control. Police say they found the charred body of one person on the second floor of the house and three more on the third.


Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.


The other three victims were identified as Phusit’s wife Kanokwan and their two children, Thirawat, 26 and Worasiri, 24.
