US travel magazine names Thailand as “2025 Destination of the Year”
Thailand has been declared 2025 Destination of the Year by US travel magazine Travel + Leisure, for its cultural richness, breath taking natural beauty and great food.
Tourism Authority of Thailand New York Office Director, Chompu Marusachot, says she is thrilled by the selection by a respected publication, which reinforces Thailands timeless charm and renowned hospitality, which resonates with visitors from around the world.
The selection of Thailand for 2025 reflects the magazines commitment to enhancing traveller experiences through cultural authenticity, culinary diversity and responsible tourism initiatives that protect natural and cultural heritage.
This marks the 10th consecutive year that the magazines editors have selected a Destination of the Year, a prestigious annual recognition awarded to countries that exemplify excellence in cultural offerings, tourism innovation and sustainable travel practices, said Chompu.
Previous countries honoured by the magazine include Costa Rica, Italy and Japan.
