Non-Imm B ends August 31st. What visa options to stay until December?

Hi Guys, my work permit and visa ends August 31st, but I still have an apartment in Bangkok until December and would like to remain here until then.

My understanding is I should leave Thailand within 24 hrs (bit harsh) but I'm a little confused about the visa on arrival to come back into the country.

Ideally I need to be here until the 1st week in December, so how do I cover 3 months with tourist visas?

To make it a little complicated (or perhaps it makes it easier), I would like to be in the Philippines for a week at the end of September.

Fly in, fly out every 30 days. Easy peasy.

i believe you will have 7 days, if your work permit is through a BOI ( i think) (Chamchuree Square) company you can get longer (I just did in May). then do as Willy says and border bounce a few times (may require a 1 day stayover) or get an extendable visa. if you are off to flips then border bounce should suffice i would think.

What country are you from? (What passport?). Different nationalities get/need different things.

You may not need a "visa on arrival" nor a "tourist visa". You may be eligible for a 'visa exempt' stamp, depending on your nationality/passport.

I believe that the length of stay allowed on the visa exempt stamp has recently been increased from 30 days to 60 days. Perhaps somebody can confirm that.

^ Since 15 July, it is 60 days per entry for visa exempt countries...
