The USA changed a couple of weeks ago.
The UK’s change marks the vernal equinox but in 2002 we aligned with the EU in making the change on the last Sunday of March.
i was still at school when we trialled the abandonment of putting the clocks back in Autumn which was a bit grim in the mornings but gave us the extra hour of daylight in the late afternoon.
^ Except it should be the other way round. GMT is the correct time and putting the clocks forward for BST should not be the norm. I recall Maggie getting her argument wrong as well, saying BST just wouldn't be right in the winter.
I doubt anything changed in the USA a couple of weeks ago.Quote:

Changing clocks is bullshit. It is like telling everyone to come to work or school an hour earlier every day. Jet lag and bullshit. It leads to health problems and more workplace and traffic accidents. In 1916 the German empire put the clocks forward an hour to supposedly help the war effort. Within 3 weeks the British govt did the same.
Where is the evidence that changing the clocks does any good?
