TheBBChas apologised after its coverage of an FA Cup football match was marred by pornographic noises being played loudly while its presenters were live on air.
Gary Lineker, the host, later said in a tweet that the moaning noises came from a hidden mobile phone which had been “taped to the back of the set” in the studio looking out over the pitch at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineux stadium.

The embarrassing incident occurred before kick-off in the third round replay fixture between Wolves and Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The groaning may have come from WBA fans across the People of Color Country Klongs or people trying to escape the West Midlands during the train strikes.

The recording was identified by sound anal list sexperts at Bellingcat as an excerpt from Dilly does Edmondton

In fairness that was genius and they all took it well.

It went on for ages, on BBC1 prime time as well.
It was made funnier by them ignoring and trying to talk over it.
Shearer and Lineker blamed it on Danny Murphy a couple of times but he has no sense of humour whatsoever.

No doubt MOTD would have seen a lot of editing

They didn't ignore it they literally joked about it.

They were mostly embarrassed by it, it went on for about 15 minutes and had about 2 jokes, as I mentioned, aimed at Danny Murphy who didn't bite.

The other 14 and a half minutes of the 15 were the presenters talking over it and ignoring it.

2 jokes is still joking about it. You want Lineker to do a full set on sex noises?

I thought the noises were Linekers gut gagging for a packet of walkers crisps :)
