1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Brand new. 305 4 barrel carb. 4 speed auto. Thank God it wasn't a 3 speed which were common. Same lame wire hubcaps and color.

My Father’s car. But it was burgundy. It was related to my father’s murder. Damned car.
My step-father’s car. Same color. Heat exhaust cover in the backseat area where sharp. Ended up with bloody feet,……just once.
My first love’s car. Her uncle owned a Chevrolet dealership. That was a nice car.
Jeez we had so many when growing up as the old man bought and sold them.
The most memorable was probably the Austin Cambridge.
The most unmemorable was a Mk 1 Ford Transit van with a hole in the floor big enough to fall through.:rofl:

He drove it like he bought it and carboned-up the top end so my Italian tune-ups (7000 rpm at all opportunities - double valve springs standard) made it run much better.
Independent rear end, light, strong, reliable, powerfulish, economical.
The most memorable was a Jaguar Sovereign. We did a week driving around the Lake District and then rolled up to a classic car show and won a prize. He loved that car more than anything.

Nothing memorable in our family apart from a 1936 Plymouth my father kept till a change of house and lack of garage space meant it had to go. Otherwise, it was things like this, 75 Corona in a horrid lime green shade, would have been an Australian assembled model. Early 80s it was an insurance write-off for front end damage I bought it back for I think $300 and with friends help and dodgy panelbeating it survived a few more years.

We moved back to America in 1963. Bought this on the east coast and drove it down to Florida, then through the gulf states to Texas and then onto California our new home.

In 1969 my dad went back to work in Libya and I convinced my mom this was a family car which it surely was not. 69 Dodge Charger 383 with Holly 4 barrel carburetors.

First car I bought with my own money, made from doing clean up in a butcher shop. 63 Volkswagen bug. Ran for about 3 months before the engine gave out.
