Avatar Appeal

I like some avs, and naturally am attracted to the posters behind the good ones, unless they turn out to be total wanklettes. Some avs are scary, antagonistic, or weird, and I distrust the poster. Some avs are boring, and the poster usually is, too. Then some posters change their avs all the time (like Stroller -- bring back the fekin kitty, you binker) as if they got a personality disorder. I like to scan and when I see an av I know, I can immediately identify if it's friend, foe or nobody.
And then, there are the flash or motorised avs that are silly (except for Spin's; I think his is great).

Part of the reason for changing mine, is to shake these preperceptions a little.:)

Some times I change it simply because my mood changed, or I find a new appealing one while browsing the net. People have different attitudes to avatars. Some take it very serious, I don't identify with mine.

I changed mine, once.

I have the best avartart on here, fact. Nobody else offers free kitchen appliances.

In terms of intimidation, I think those two used by Wolfie and Buckwheat on tv are very intimidating. Probably chosen on purpose.

Dunno. I remember asking him once, and he said he rotated Harry, Curly and Moe for his av. Maybe he got a new one. Fekker wouldn't give me his BBQ sauce recipe either.

Err, yes. But when the new stock comes in I'll now have two extra. Which I shall sell to fund my Internet habit.
