...traveled from the El Salvador border to Mexico City...never once saw a quesadilla or a burrito on a local menu...La Monita offers "Tex-Mex" which does to Mexican cuisine what American restaurants did to Italian cuisine...no seafood, tamales or interesting sauces at La Monita, but I understand the owner had a taco truck somewhere in the US and knows what most paying customers want...Quote:

Last time I had Mex food was in a pub in Boulder Colorado.
