Dear friends and family

This will be my 12th year of Thailand internet foruming, so I think it's time to reflect backwards and forwards on years wasted here.

First you will forgive me as I'm typing this on the phone at the condo gym as the spontaneous inspiration just hit me and I can't stop now.

The first time I joined a Thai forum was under the nic siamcowboy on now defunct ajarn forum. I clearly remember my first post which didn't go so well titled "cheap ass farang" and it was about some dude (probably an English teacher) who was out and about on the market buying some clothes for his gf and I overheard him say "but it's only 99baht at big c". I was called names and ridiculed saying it's none of my business and I don't know his financial situation, if he has kids and other nonsense. Soon enough I realized it's time for a nic change and buddahas was born. Still I was getting redded to oblivion until the master mod LDMA decided to remove reds. Finally I could speak my mind and became the legend of AF and even credited by AO for taking the forum down due to my "trolling". I still feel honored by this statement.

When the forum became defunct the similar fate awaited.me....but like Phoenix rising from the ashes of fay I reinvented myself and became who I am today. Your trustworthy Serbian moose here to educate and entertain you.

What is your story?

I lived in Isaan but there was only analogue coverage when I was there and certainly no internet...

For those under 50..That is the name of a song

For those under 30 a song is music with lyrics

So your telilng us you have a long history of multinicicking? You joined a forum populated by ajarns while not actually being one yourself? Well done. I take you even less seriously now but thanks for the honesty.

Marcusb from the start to present, all forums same nic. Its also my real name, I see no point in using a made up name ...

Buddahas posts were funny, to me. Your sidekick the last year on AJ was the most annoying poster I've witnessed. In my opinion he was the one who destroyed AJ forum. But I'm sure the forum shut for financial reasons not because of annoying twats.

Been simon43 on all forums right from the start. Actually, it's a pretty stupid nick because I was 43 years old when I chose the nick. Should change it to simon60 now...
