Lampang opens healthy product fair

LAMPANG, 12 February 2018 (NNT) – Lampang Provincial Agricultural Office has opened a healthy product fair at Central Plaza Lampang shopping center, allowing farmers to directly sell their goods to consumers.

Lampang Provincial Agricultural Office has joined hands with Central Plaza Lampang shopping center to organize the "Quality Healthy Products" where local farmers can sell their products in affordable prices to consumers.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the provincial governor of Lampang.

The event is aimed to push forward the government's policy on agricultural reform, and the provincial policy to promote safe agricultural produces farming by providing more retail opportunities to local farmers who can sell their harvest directly without the need of middlemen.

Some 32 groups of organic farmers are selling their produces at "Quality Healthy Produces" event, which takes pace for 3 days each month on the 2nd or 3rd week of the month.
