How much does land cost up north?
I am trying to find out what a "reasonable price range" is when buying land up north in Buriram area for both building? or Farm land? How do you determine what a reasonable price range is in the country?
I imagine that the answer is, it depends on many factors! Is the land on a road, close to a big city/village, have water supply? What other factors should be considered?
What do experienced board memebrs think? Is it too much to pay 100,000 baht per rai for home site several km's out of town?
How about farm land, is 30,000 - 50,000 baht per rai too much for land a few km's out of town in the middle of no where?
Thanks,

3 types of land certificates
The land certificates exist in 3 kinds of rating....
I do not exactly remember but i think it is A B and C
If you are near a military base or government facility or road project...you can may be then buy it cheap now, but you will have to give it back few years later may be...
No moves without certificates sigth...
Create a company to have it in the name of the company and not in the name of your love....but i think you are not new to this...
:mat:
If it is to make a house know that you will have to rise the land to avoid floodings...This is then the rigth time to create a water pond for storage of water... Some spot are subjects to heavy rains and flooding and few miles away they do not se rainfor years...Inform yourself well before to decide this will also help you negotiate land price at correct value...
gd'luck...
