Bums guns for the West

I was reading this thread https://teakdoor.com/the-teakdoor-lou...anus-wash.html in the lounge last night and it reminded me of something else, near and dear to us.


Apparently, when you import the Thai Bum Gun and hook it up to western plumbing, it often fails.

The hose and/or couplings leak due a combination of the higher water pressure we usually have with western plumbing and the quality of the Thai/Chinese build materials.


A few years back we had a couple of kids and decided to do the cloth nappy thing.

So, when it comes time to clean up after 'droping some friends off at the pool' ...

Bum guns for space. In discussions about settling Mars I suggested they are the way to go instead of importing toilet paper from earth or producing local toilet paper.
