As of now 34 feels like 43 according to accuweather. I'm off to Mega-bangna for some lunch. Then batten down the hatches when I get home (air-con at -20 captain)

97 today in my normally breezy and cool valley - like living in a warm sponge. Manila just hit 100. Hope Obama enjoys the visit.

My pug is nearly dying in this heat and she has been given her own fan.

Today they say the sun is at it's closest to the earth and it feels like it has parked itself in my backyard.

Anyway back into the floor tiling as you can never keep a good man down. :)

Weather underground reported 40 degrees and more in five places in Thailand yesterday, 41 in Sukhothai. Pattaya doesn't get this hot, 30.5 now at noon, humidity only 55%. I miss a feature I have seen every year before at this time of the year, that's the long clouds crawling from the East over the city, producing an overcast sky and drop in temperature.

Fucking hot, old bitch across the road says she has never known it so hot, but you know what liars Thais are!

My fridge tells me it's 38c inside the house at the moment.

3 days ago the missus had someone come and build a plunge pool beside the carport.
One day to dig a big hole, one day to line it with bricks, another day to render.

Got a touch of rain sprinkling up here in Rangsit in the past hour but nothing much.

The clouds are building up nicely here in Bang Chak looks like rain on the way, best head to the pub before the downpour starts.

A good dousing here in Don Muang, it finally broke that heat.

Rolling thunder here Lao/cambo border, been so hot I felt physically sick at times.

The best part of it is the temperature drop, 38 two hours ago, 27 now.

Just got back from the UK last week, so feeling the heat especially more now. Did a bike ride and a few rounds on the bags at the weekend to try and acclimatize myself. Ended up almost passing out yesterday. Fail..

No sign of rain here in Pattaya and it is still steaming.

Been pouring here for 90 minutes. Wahoo!

38/39/40 everyday here for the last month,big storm about 3 this morning lasted about 2 hours now its stinking hot again.thank god for aircon.

It's been supposed to piss down 'this evening' now for the past week up in the north. We keep getting thunder, grey skys and whipping winds, but no rain. It's like being prick teased. Lamphun hit 40 the other day, with high humidity it's been hard to take, even in the air con with cold beer. Was at the markets and no ventilation or fans or anything, stinking hot, poor bastard working there.

High 30's at the moment,walked to the store for a 6 pack about 50 yards had to have a cold shower when i got back.

It rained for about three minutes gone before it hit the ground.

Just back from Mega-Bangna. Got roped into changing a tap on the kitchen sink. Next project put some chicken wire on the front gate. My farcking toenails are sweating.

Raining, not heavy, but steady, power went, but cool now, good nights sleep ahead and the rubber and cassava will love it.
Next month will be posting, stop the rain. Jim

^My missus is quite fit. She just came in from a ten Km run and said she was sweating so much that groups of people were following her planting rice.

^ bit of a difference between a 10k run and a 50 yard walk (or in this case, probably waddle) though. :)
