Amulet casting at Wat ChaiMonkon, Sukhothai
We went upcountry during Songkran and, on our last day up there, visited a Wat up on top of a small mountain. This part of Sukhothai is right on the edge of the northern mountains and some of the people there speak Pasa Nua rather than standard Thai.

As you can see, the main building is a typical big Wat building. It's all gold and mirrors inside, but I didn't get any good pictures. In fact, speaking of good pictures, I forgot to bring my camera and so all of these pics are going to be crappy cell phone pics - sorry!
