Pattaya - A Night Out at Walking Street
Well it's a very rare occasion when I go to Walking Street, this is for several reasons, the lack of parking and actually having to walk, over priced drinks, and no naked women, well all this seems to have changed since Toxin left the country, well apart from the lack of parking and having to walk.
You get there about 8pm and all the bars are having happy hours, seems the most expensive charge 60baht for a draught beer, yep thats the normal bars and the go go bars, the go go bars have loads of naked women all over the place and lesbian shows seem to be the main theme, anyway lets start this off with a video taken from the entrance to Walking Street looking out, weekends this road is just a traffic jam, as you can see it's a lot quieter during week days.

Kilkenny Irish Pub and Restaurant Walking Street
So time for our first drink and some food, obviously you don't want to be hitting the gogo bars on an empty stomach and completely sober, so off we wandered to Kilkenny Irish Pub, outside they had the normal girls with signs saying 60baht for draught beer, inside there was no mention of it at all.
Food wise it is expensive compared to English restaurants in other parts of Pattaya, but hell their rent must be really high, I think the pie and chips was about 240baht, should mention the beer comes in pint glasses.
The great thing about this place is that it is air conned but they also leave the doors open to get rid of the cigarette smoke, music aint loud and has loads of lcd or plasma tvs with the sports on

South Pattaya The Doll House
So after the Kilkenny Pub it was time to see some naked flesh so off we wandered to the Marine Bar to the Doll House A Go Go, on the way through Marine bar I took this video of the Thai man playing with his snake, one day that snake has to win, they also have thai boxing here if that is your thing.
Got to admit I was a bit disappointed with the Doll House, quite a few of the girls had some horrific scars either due to Ceasarians or knife fights, some of the breasts on display had fed more babies than customers, a couple of the Girls had obviously never had any babies as they were obviously born as men, whether they were pre or post op I have no idea, yep we didn't spend to long in that place.

Soi Diamond - Windmill A Go Go
Further into Soi Diamond it gets really narrow, ie it makes Soi Cowboy in Bangkok look like a super highway, but this is where all the sleaze is that us people in Pattaya have come to expect, lots of upstairs bars here with touts with bits of paper to show what is on offer :)
Anyway we decided on the Windmill A Go Go which is a downstairs one, and as per normal we sat at the stage, the old eyes aint as good as they used to be :) very few girls had clothes on and within minutes there was a lesbian show right in front of us, it was so close I could have reached out and joined in, obviously I didn't as I don't think customers are allowed to join in, so then they started a see how far you can get the ice cube to go display, it was quite a shock to see the old man opposite us pop these ice cubes into his drink, I mean think of the hygene side of things, anyway he must have been a regular cos within minutes he had ordered a beer, within seconds of it arriving one of the performers had inserted it into herself, proof that he wasn't worried about the hygene, I mean how many other beer bottles had she had up herself that evening? Then he started performing cunnilingus on her.
But it did have its bad points..... girls continually asking to be bought lady drinks, the ugly monster that I got lumbered with just wouldn't take no for an answer, every minute she asked, yep one drink in there and being asked 100 times for lady drinks was enough for me.

Polo Entertainment and Russian gogo Girls Walking Street
Well at least I went there, didn't bother going to the one stickman promotes as I know that one will be shite, I mean stickman is a teacher, not a sex tourist, so what would he know, well unless he used to be a sex tourist :) I mean if you want to see naked women and not touch them then you just watch a porn film :)
Anyway this last movie you will have to turn your monitors over for the first few seconds, It is the entrance to POLO Entertainment and then features those Russian gogo dancers.

Pattaya Walking Street Rasputin Restaurant
Rasputin Restaurant is the first one you come to coming in from Walking Streets back entrance, it has been there quite a few years and I have never seen it busy as most people don't get this far down the street.
It is a Russian Restaurant which I assume is pretty much the same as a German Restaurant, well apart from this one specialises in Seafood with German style boiled cabbage, pretty classy place but the wrong end of Walking Street I think.

Pattaya Walking Street Seafood Restaurants
Okay nipping back to the entrance of Walking Street, the back one that is, you have the booking place to go to the Oriental Star Seafood Market Restaurant, they stick you on their motorbike tuktuk thing, drive you to the end of Bali Hai Pier, then you get onto a speedboat which takes you out to the Restaurant which is on a colorfully lit boat, still cant get a good picture of the poxy thing as the sea keeps moving the boat.

Thai Sea Food at the Right Spot Restaurant is sold by weight, ie you choose which half dead animal you want and they cook it up for you, down this end of Walking Street it is mainly Seafood Restaurants and jewelers, obviously if you walk a bit further up the street you will get to Nang Nual Restaurant which is the most famous, well that and The Lobster Pot are both the most famous, Nang Nual also does really good steaks, they are on both sides of the road and both have aircon and open air if your a smoker and want to be treated like a social leper, that is Nang Nual has restaurants on both sides of the road opposite each other, they also have a restaurant in Jomtien, not as good as the Pattaya ones though, never had to leave meals from there, the Jomtien one I have had a couple of iffy meals though :(

Hooty's and Marine Disco Walking Street
Hooty's a gogo is the last one on Walking Street, I really doubt that anybody in the world has been able to do a write up on this place cos by the time they get there they will be too pissed due to all the other bars on the way, now if I remember rightly you have to walk down a long corridor type thing, has the usual shows and sometimes gets the audience to participate in the shows, obviously being stripped down to your underpants and having naked women on the stage massage your nether regions can be a bit embarrassing so it's probably best not to volunteer, they also do a fire show which I thought was a bit dangerous, would have been a bit embarrassing if my mother read about me burning to death in a gogo bar while watching sex shows and that kind of stuff.

Marine disco or the chicken farm as it is affectionately known is the place to pick up freelancers, waiters keep hassling you to buy drinks all the time and with it being a disco it is bloody noisy, still, people like that sort of thing for some reason.
