Why does youtube embedding not work in some parts?

I started a thread yesterday, and behold, it's gone.

I have embedded youtube videos many times.

Now, when I cut and paste the URL I only get the link line.

Why is this?

How do I embed - in particular - in the speaker's corner.

You cannot, you twit, you've already asked this question, you've already started a thread about this topic and the answer has not changed.

You cannot. We don't want the speakers corner to degenerate into cut and pastes of embedded youtubes videos. If you're too dumb to carefully construct and build an argument yourself then you shouldn't be posting there!
