A guide to avoiding the Morgue in Thailand for idiots

Surving Thailand seems to be a constant battle for some, whilst forums, books and other sources are readily available to help the fools who seem to think Thailand is there own personal bitch.

What could be done to help such persons, from leaving this planet earlier than there creator proposed for them.

personally i believe any such persons especially schoolteachers should have a psychological assessment before any visas are issued.

Before marrying a Thai farang should be asked a few questions about there future spouse,hmm that could be a mistake how many really know anything about there future wife.

Possibly a test on Thai culture before being granted the marriage status.

A full risk assessment on the likely hood of the mother in law moving in to their marital house and camping on the floor perhaps? Especially if she is a Wicked Witch!

Don't marry? Why make it legal, just have a nice long-term thing with a woman.

Whats the difference, its only paper, or is that your get out clause just in case she gets pregnant you can do a runner.?

When you marry she's got legal grasp on at least half wealth and assets. And for a poor Thai woman and her family, that's like winning the Lottery.

If there's no paper and no legal binding, why would any Thai and her family to kill you off?

surely if you love the lady, why would you have any problem with this, or is she just a piece of meat that you can abuse.

Shrewed theres many farangs here that have not been killed, because they know how to treat a woman and set ground rules for there wives.

I had a load of shit when i first married, but had to overcome the shit and did, saying that not all farangs have the problems.

There's many guys that are married and abuse there woman, makes no difference at all if your legally married, its all about the relationship.

As far as love goes, that's for teenagers and reality is for Adults.

Correct. I think golf and sex here are mutually exclusive, tbh.

I wonder how many farangs have been murdered without being married? Loss of face? Broken promises, TG's husband / meng dar jealous or the money dries up. So many reasons why farangs end up "committing suicide" or having a "motorbike accident". just more likely when you are worth considerably more dead than alive. Just always falls back to the same thing. Doesn't matter where he or she comes from; no love, it's a waste of time getting married.

We generally can't prevent even clever people from doing stupid things. As far as marriage goes, if you screw it up once, there's an even chance you'll probably screw it up again.

Since my divorce a long time ago, I keep in mind my single thought about remarriage:
Anyone who is silly enough to get married a second time, deserves the first one back as punishment.
