Fatal fall doctor a possible suicide

A doctor from Siriraj Hospital's Radiology Department, Atthawit Ratrasarn, 29, fell to his death yesterday morning from an eleventh floor fitness room of a 22-storey medical dormitory in Bangkok Noi, police said.
Police found a chair placed near the room's balcony and a pair of sandals that reportedly belonged to the doctor.
An inspection of security cameras on the 11th floor and testimonies by building maids indicated that Dr Atthawit walked absent-mindedly in front of the floor's elevator but didn't take a ride. He was later found dead.
Police found no sign of damage or a struggle in the doctor's room, only some unknown medicine. They suspect he committed suicide over stress from study and plan to question those who knew him for more information.
