Murdoch's news hounds were onto far more. Rebeka Brooks was well cosy with Cameron, as was Murdoch, and again, the police were implicated in passing or suppressing info illegally.
Rebeka Brooks was also keen on uncovering paedophilia, and she became the fall puppet for Murdoch.
At some point, the establishment paedo ring is not going to be able to keep covering their tracks and someone of note is going to be exposed, well and truly.
This whole deal over Savile and now McAlpine both reek of "cover-up".
Both issues, Lord McAlpine's predicament and Savile's exposure, being contra-distinct to each other are detracting from the real issue lurking below the surface of the published media, and the smokescreen now in operation is just that, a smoke screen.
