    Urgent calling Phuket members

    Mods put this where it belongs as wasn't sure where to post this.
    A friend and well known Khon KAEN resident's daughter has gone missing since Wednesday. The police are now involved and she was last seen getting on a bus to Phuket. If anybody sees her or has any information please PM me or reply on here.

    "Feeling worried ,since 3pm our daughter Ploy who is only 14 has gone missing from Khon Kaen .She left school and not been home since .It is possible she may have met a older boy and gone away with him .We have reported this to the police but says they can not do anything till 24 hours .Could all my friends here in all THAILAND PLEASE SHARE THIS as she may have left Khon Kaen.We have been told this older boy may be heading to Phuket .its 11pm here now and Lin and her family are searching around Khon Kaen at the moment. — with Ploy Dixon."

    Look for Mike Dixon on there, he posted a photo of her on a horse a few hours ago with just 'missing you Ploy.'

    Hopefully his wife has a facebook account and is more devout in sharing their missing child message around the Country.

    Indeed, Facebook would be the way to go. There are several Phuket based groups that seem to share this type of incident:

    Very much a non Farang group, so posting would have to be in Thai obviously.

    He posted it on his facebook account and it garnered over 800+ shares but he has since taken it down...not sure why . It's on here as well https://m.facebook.com/groups/965164143512861 - expats in Isaan

    sorry its a closed group ask to join.

    just been advised that the police told him to take it down in case she reads it and goes into hiding. One things for sure she definitely doesn't read TD.
